If you like to start your day with a little bit of caffeine, you’ve got some options. Tim Horton’s and Negash Coffee are both conveniently located over by the golf course. Both have indoor seating and delicious pastry options if you’re looking for a little snack. If it’s a beautiful day you may want to consider taking your coffee to go. The Crow Wing Trail goes right through town. If you head to Hespeler Park you can hop on the trail and enjoy the scenery of the park and the wetlands.
Once you’re all fueled up, may we recommend a little bit of self-care. Looking for some hair care? Anya’s Hair Studio is located on Main Street. In addition to hair, they offer waxing and tinting services and have a great little retail section as well. Looking for the full-service salon experience? Just down the way on Cedar Drive you’ll find Done Salon, offering hair, mani, pedicure, and skin services. They also have salon-quality retail for hair and skincare. If you haven’t tried Eminence before, you’re in for a real treat.
If you’re in the mood for some shopping, Niverville’s got you covered. A great place to start would be the Niverville MCC Thrift Store. Don’t be surprised if you see a lineup right before they open; this thrift shop is always filled with treasures. Next, you might want to head down the street to Wiens Furniture. Wiens has a 20,000 sq ft showroom featuring appliances, furniture, and mattresses. You’ll also find rugs, art, barbeques, home décor, and accessories. Lastly, you’ll want to stop at Community General Store. We say lastly, because if you head there first you may not make it to any of your other stops. It’s easy to lose time in that store, with so many fantastic Canadian-made products, including soaps, snacks, home décor, and so much more. They also have a beautiful selection of tropical plants and floral arrangements.
